Home-Made: Contemporary Russian Folk Artifacts by Vladimir Arkhipov
Vladimir Arkhipov spent years scouring Russia to find, document and collect ingenious, everyday items made by average people struggling to ‘make do’. From a queen bee trap made with a hair curler and bottle cap lid to a basket carved from a punctured basketball–ingenuity and desperation mixed to make some of the most lovely objects. Touching, beautiful, and useful. We want them all!
